For the purpose of drafting the service “Technical documentation for the rehabilitation, restoration and conservation of the national monument House of the Armed Forces”, the Contracting Authority awarded the contract to the consortium, which included the IPSA INSTITUTE Sarajevo. These services has been implemented in 2020.

Project characteristics:
A snapshot of the current situation was prepared as an integral part of the research phase carried out at the National Monument of the Officers’ Casino (House of the Armed Forces of BiH) in Sarajevo. The research phase is the basis for the preparation and approach to the next phases of work, which will include the preparation of technical documentation for the rehabilitation, restoration and conservation of the National Monument of the House of the Armed Forces of BiH. Modern approaches to restoration emphasize the condition as a conditional, and certainly one of the most important, obligation of any action on prominent architectural units. The total usable area of the building is 4,300.00 m².
