IPSA INSTITUT d.o.o. Sarajevo participates in the implementation of key infrastructure projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the countries of the Western Balkans, and for 65 years has been a leader in the development of engineering in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Generally speaking, IPSA has a range of consulting and engineering services includes preliminary designs, final designs, master planning, framework planning and tendering, feasibility studies and rehabilitation measures, analysis of weak points, cost estimations, traffic studies, technical assistance and construction supervision in the following sectors:

- Water supply,
- Waste water collection, disposal and treatment,
- Environmental and flood protection,
- Energy supply and telecommunications,
- Buildings and structures.
The key values by which the Company is still guided today and which enabled us to survive in the past period and to continuously develop, is the constant investment in the knowledge of our employees. Also, when providing our services, we strive to act in a professional and unbiased manner, looking for the best solutions for the client which is, at the same time, in accordance with the rules of the profession.
IPSA INSTITUT has been developed from Department for design established in 1958, which existed ad part of Railway Transportation Company Sarajevo. Main activates were designing of minor civil engineering objects. After 5 years of existing Department had several technological parts which covered designing in the cope of infrastructure (geodesy, transportation infrastructure, construction, architecture, hydrotechnical and electrical engineering). In the following years, the IPSA INSTITUT expanded its activities on the domestic and international markets, so that already in 1978, with the then name “Zavod IPSA”, we participate in the development of projects in Europe, Africa and Asia. Today, IPSA INSTITUT has more than 45 years of international experience in all relevant fields. IPSA participated in the realization of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Transport Master Plan that was finalized in April 2001. IPSA has also completed a number of projects financed by international financial institutions such as World Bank, EBRD, EIB, and the European Commission. Currently, IPSA employs almost 100 full-time employees (more than 70 engineers and other highly educated experts) and 35 part-time experts.
IPSA INSTITUT is also the shareholder in CETEOR and ENCOS.
CETEOR is specialized in environmental monitoring. ENCOS is registered for same activates as IPSA but also provide services in mini hydropower plant.
