PROVISION OF PRELIMINARY STUDIES AND DESIGNS FOR REMOVING THE RAILWAY TRAFFIC BOTTLENECK OCCURRING AT IVAN-BRADINA

Office of the European Commission in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has awarded the contract for „Provision of preliminary studies and designs for removing the railway traffic bottleneck occurring at Ivan-Bradina” to Consortium: IPSA Institute (leading role) and EGIS International (supporting role).

The overall objective of the project is to accelerate activities on rehabilitation of the priority sections on the SEETO Railway Comprehensive Network, in particular along the Corridor Vc.

The purposes of the project is to provide for preliminary studies and designs for the removal traffic bottlenecks on the micro-location Ivan Tunnel – Bradina Ramp, and to explore options and provide for preliminary studies and designs for connection of the Mostar International Airport to the railway in the Corridor Vc.

The results that will be achieved are: Preliminary studies and designs for the most favourable alignment for the removal traffic bottlenecks on the micro-location Ivan Tunnel – Bradina Ramp  and preliminary studies and designs for the most favourable option for connecting of the Mostar International Airport to the railway line in the Corridor Vc.
